Finals !
Hi everyone, it's the second last week of the semester. I've been very busy doing assignments and have been busy playing too! =] Regrettably, late nights are becoming a habit for me...

Refreshed from the turkey and dressing meals, I am now ready for cafeteria food again... =] heheh.. Besides that, I have an announcement to make! Yesterday was the first time I've ever seen snow! I didn't see it fall from the sky, tho.. becos I was sleeping. In the morning, I walked out the building and wondered: "Something's different today, what is it??...." THen POW! I noticed all the whiteness on the sidewalk and ground!! hahah! .. I suppressed the urge to go touch and feel the snow, becos no one else seemed to think it was special.. *sigh* ..but I did touch it later(when no one was looking) hahah! THe snow has melted today, don't know when it will snow again.

I'm goin to be busy .... not much time to update. Anyway, I won't be on campus during xmas. So if any mail, pls mail it to KingFu's address! THanksa! I hope all of you who visit this journal will drop ur addresses(snail and email) in the msgbox!! Close or not close to me , doesn't matter, just wanna thank you all for being with me in Spirit!

19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"[4]

It's Monday today.
Finals have not started yet. It's gonna start tomorrow. Just like to tell you guys what God has been doing here.
On Saturday night, I played bass at a small inter-denominational young youth event at Harvest Fellowship Church. This event is called Reality CHeck and it's off to a pretty slow start. But I am glad that the people who started it have the faith and hope that Reality Check will make a difference soon enough! =] THe bible study that night was given by Anders, [awesome guy from BSU!] And the topic was humility. One story he pointed out was about Isaiah and his encounter with God.

Isaiah 6
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

I am reminded of my experience just a few hours earlier, right before I was off to work in the DIning Hall... You see, I realize that I did some mistakes the first few weeks when I was here. And unfortunately, it is very hard to 'repair' things to normal... [It concerns 'relationships'].....not romantic lar......I've been pushing it down, trying to think less of it...
But, just like Isaiah, it's impossible to hide from God's majesty. I could see the every ugly thing so clearly in the light of His holiness... *sigh*
Just like Anders said: Being humble is NOT being wat you aren't..... humility is what you are , not compared to men, but compared to God...

Finals and Snow!
Today is the last day of finals. I've been very fortunate because I have only one exam a day. I took seven courses this semester, but 2 of them ended in the middle of the semester. Another 2 are take-home finals! Alrite! Other than that, it snowed heavily yesterday. In the morning, it was about 3 inches thick... love it =]
I'll be in Kansas City by this evening.

Miss ya Warrensburg!

Laziness.......
=] How's everyone? I've been notified that both youth camps CGMC Ipoh and FGA Youth are awesome! How I miss the fellowship! I am in Kansas City, much more high-tech and busier than Warrensburg... Yet, strangely I am not motivated enough to update the journal.. *slaps forehead(KingPui style)* sorry betul.. I just received Joshua Yeoh's card yesterday. And it's a snail mail... Phwoar!! Many thanks JOsh! I know the reason for the season: .....Santa Cla..... NOT! its' Jesus KRISTUS!! ....woo hooo =]

Just yesterday, I watched the third part of the LOTR trilogy. Three and a half hours long... It was pretty good actually... =] I went with KingFu's friends, Jih Hoe and jeremy.... My brother couldn't go because he had to work. After LOTR, I thought we were on the way home, then Jeremy turned a few corners in the huge cinema, & POW! we were watching Master and Commander:Far Side of the butt....... hahah!! *Gosh*(joshstyle)! And these guys usually do it for NOT 2 movies.. but 4 or 5 in a row!! [very worth it for the 5.50 ticket] heheh...

I still do not know where we're gonna spend Christmas. Or what church we're gonna go to. But i am sure of something: No gifts or presents this year...=](don't worry this isn't a hint).. Actually I do have gifts, like from Kingfu la... like living off him for a few weeks[ like a parasite].. *Jokin* He got me a guitar capo... the fast-switch one... it's black.. cool..

So, Tim, how was lunch with Wei Jern? haha! =]}...
I know the next few lines are for the Thanksgiving season. But God laid it on my heart just recently.
I haven't been appreciating friends and family. And I should. Somehow I'm blinded to these stuff. So to all my under-appreciated friends, I'm very sorry. Know this: you've all did your part encouraging your brother here in his journey. Miss ya'll and thank you. also.... Love ya Mom and Dad!

The week that was Christmas...
So the year 2003 is about to come to a close. Christmas this year is obviously different, in some ways. No christmas eve/christmas services, no close friends to celebrate, no hugs....etc. Hahah =]

Kansas City Baptist Temple
Attended this church on Sunday. Enjoyed the sermons a lot. Andrew, a fellow Malaysian gave us a ride there. It was an awesome experience because I've never seen such diversity in a church! When you look into the congregation, it's almost like a rainbow.. =] hahah.. We rarely see that in a Malaysian church. Then Patrick, Andrew's friend pointed out to the pamphlet's front page.... " A Church For All Peoples..." Wow.. so I guess they are pretty successful in that area. Worship was vibrant, mostly because we sat right behind this "active" african-american woman,... =] I think it's just great being able to see God's children enjoying worshipping Him..

Tuesday Night: Checkpoint
This is a college age ministry at the same church, KCBT. Yups, the name of the ministry is Checkpoint. Being a visitor, i got a free ice-mocha. So did KingFu.

Sleep first. late d. Listening to "Lift Up Your Eyes" -Reflector.

*Gosh* ...this is becoming more and more like a authentic journal....[read: boring/repetitive]. with a list of things i did from morn to nite.. current song, current mood... sigh.... teruk la... so sorry...

=] Goodnite brothers n sistas
