Some of the stuff that broke my routine
recently:
1. Added volunteer training at KMOS-TV to my weekly
schedule. Every Wednesday and Friday beginning next
week, I'll be spending 2 hours at the control room of
KMOS, the Warrensburg public TV station. It's a
100,000 -watt station; biggest type there is. =]
However, it isn't that hip n happening. Most of its
programs are targeted for an young audience: little
children, more precisely... Hoping I'll be able to
cope volunteering and everything else=]
2. Had a short prayer meeting before PULSE(weekly
bible study for freshmen). I only started going this
semester. Last semester, I was working on Monday
nights, that's why I couldn't make it. Well, I don't
know if we'll make the prayer meeting b4 PULSE a
permanent thing. But it does sound good and awesome.
=] Next week, we might not have bible study cos we're
planning to attend a talk by a certain "episcopalian
bishop." From wat I hear, he's is spearheading a "new
type of CHristianity", and he doesn't believe in some
important part of our creed (e.g. virgin birth....
etc.) *sigh*how can he be a bishop??!?! Our lifegroup
leader, Jason thinks we should check out wat are the
actual claims are, and probably ask him some
questions. It's definitely NOT to support him...
Besides that, a group will be praying over that thinge
while it is happening...
3. Tonite after working at the dining hall, I went to
play football!. I mean, real football .. like soccer..
=] Met some guys from all over the planet! haha! The
guys from turkey were so good... They practically won
all the matches they played. It wasn't field soccer,
its indoor soccer at Garrison Gym. We couldn't play
outside cos it's winter(of cos), and it's snowing. =]
