Hmmm.... i think "raising to a higher position" is not really accurate, in the case of God. Who can be higher than the Lord? Who is like Him? And who can raise the highest being into a "higher" position? Unless of course, we exalt His position in our own hearts and lives. That's the meaning i draw from the song, and hopefully what i sing, i will also mean. =) Father, heal this land. Heal and nourish the dry, cracked "heart-soils" of my brothers and sisters all over Your earth. All creation is in your hands, and nothing can thwart your awesome plans. amen. Respond to us. May we respond to you.

It's Sunday night, but technically monday morning, at 2:22 AM. I am not joking. =] I don't sleep so late usually. But this upcoming week is going to be crazy. The last week before spring break. Some scholarship applications are due on Tuesday and i haven't gotten my recommendation letters yet. darn.

On Thursday's gathering, the BSU had karaoke and DDR. That's Dance Dance Revolution. Yeah. But not those cheap plastic mats that scrunch when your chihuahua steps on em'. Higher quality ones. Yeah, So i gave karaoke and DDR a shot. Had a great time. It's amazing that almost every week, i get to meet someone new at the Gathering. FYI, thursday nights are designed to be unchurched-friendly. Next week we're having costume rollerskating. Gosh.

Friday night was The Well. Now, this is more like the worship service many believers are used to. But it's not a weekly thing. Had an awesome time here too. Oh yeah, in the daytime, i bought 2 tickets to Shadowlands, a dramatized play about CS Lewis, his faith, and his romance with Joy Gresham. Two tickets , one for me, and the other one for a female companion. Hahhah! That was the plan. If you're curious , yeah..the plan worked out. =]
