A Very Malaysian Entry
I think it's about time i updated my life in Ipoh and Malaysia, right? Well, the gang and I have been to Langkawi, Kedah, Penang, Tapah. My grandma passed away in May, and so we attended her funeral in Kedah. She was a wonderful, kind hearted woman, always taking care of her family, being very independent and all. She was about 90 years old. I remember she loves giving us fruits and cookies and tidbits everytime we went balik kampung to visit.
Then spent some good times with G-Shyn and Andrea. The Chong family really made us feel at home. They opened up their house for us to live in, and many times Andrea's mom cooked some awesome dishes for us to eat. May the Lord bless them amazingly. Played a whole lot of volleyball and computer games.. Had great malaysian food. Taught the youth group how to play ultimate frisbee. Yes, i brought a frisbee home from the US. They weren't very good the first time we played. Hardly anyone caught a frisbee or threw it straight. But the second time, it was quite amazing. These young people took a shorter time to learn compared to me. I sucked at frisbee back in the Burg.
Now, Brother's in KL and i'm in Ipoh. God answered my prayers well above what i expected. I wanted to be more active in church while i was in Ipoh. So now i get to help Elaine, my youth worker with planning some activities and updating the worship songbooks and all. Even got my own laptop to do research on. It's broadband wireless connected too. Wow. I get to hangout at the church library, which is where i'm updating from now. Yup, just like i always like to say, "praise god from whom all blessings flow.."
Got a whole lot of fun pictures we had vacationing in Langkawi. Got to see the females in their swimsuits, what could be better.? Hahah. Will upload some pictures soon, with captions, of course. Also met some pretty and awesome people in Tapah while helping out in a Kid's Adventure Camp. The kids are so cute. They haven't a care in the world.
