Some consider it spectacular. Others call it "invasion of privacy." For now, I'm just going to call it "freaky." I'm talking about the Google Maps' Street View feature. Have you google-mapped your home or your favorite places to hang out? I tell ya - "freaky" is no overstatement. Now that I live in a metro area (Chicagoland), I actually get to see familiar sights on this feature.
A week ago my bro and I went to Penang, a Malaysian restaurant in Chinatown. And courtesy of GoogleMaps, I can now show you exactly what we saw.
Next you'll see the Barnes & Noble that I visit after work sometimes. I frequent the comics section. What? You don't see the Barnes & Noble?
Blasted Google map-makers. The picture is several months antiquated. The building is still being constructed. Sigh. I bet it'll take them another 2 months to set up a live video stream system, GoogleVoyeur.

Light illuminates the path ahead. It shows us what the future holds. It shows us what is in the realm of possibility. Light burns away the mental blockades and fans artistic inspiration.
O, may each of you find a muse every once in a while.
Okaydave.com caught my attention today. I spent a few minutes basking in its light. It also tempted some minor envy in me, admittedly. (Hence the word "green" in the title). Anyway, I was delighted enough in Dave's work to write him an email. He deserves the admiration whether or not he writes back.
Hi Dave,
You don't know me, and don't worry, I'm not trying to
look for a job - I'm just one of those people who
stumbled onto your site with StumbleUpon. You're very
inspiring, I'm a fan of your work and ideas. Just
wanted to let you know that you're awesome and I have
subscribed to your blog feed.
Can't wait for "Cadence" to come out! I hope I'll get
to experience it with my Little (from a local
BigBrothersBigSisters program).
I love multimedia too - seeing you weld different
elements into an integrated narrative - is just
breathtaking.
Though it seems a long way off, I hope one day I can
also wield the great katana of technology like you do!
maybe someday i'll finally learn flash,

What amuses you?
It can be anything. Art draws inspiration from all. Drum a comment; I would love to check it out.
